The Sainik Welfare Department looks after the welfare and resettlement of ex-service men belonging to the State and implements various schemes for the benefit of ex-service men and their dependents. The department is headed by a Director and has Zilla Sainik Welfare Offices in districts having sizeable population of ex-service men and their families. At present there are thirteen functional Zilla Sainik Welfare Offices in the State.
